My quilt top for the Seeing Stars Quilt Along is complete! Fabric is coming in this week for the backing so I can get it quilted up and finally finished. I’m so excited!
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Applique Star Blocks
It’s the last week of making blocks! This week is the Applique Star Blocks– 28 of them! I can’t wait to get this quilt top put together 🙂
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Basic Star Blocks
This week’s blocks in the Seeing Stars Quilt Along are Basic Star Blocks. They came together really quickly! Scroll all the way down to see all the blocks together and to see my tentative layout of the whole quilt! Only one more week of blocks left!
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Improv Star Blocks
We are getting closer to the end of the Seeing Stars Quilt Along! This week’s blocks are improv-pieced stars. I have to say, improv piecing is not my favorite thing to do. But I powered through and got it done!
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Pinwheel Star Blocks
This week in the Seeing Stars Quilt Along we made Pinwheel Star Blocks! I got mine finished up just in the nick of time 🙂 I think my group of blocks this week looks like Christmas, unintentionally.
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Curvy Star Blocks
Week 2 of the Seeing Stars Quilt Along! I got my blocks finished up last night. The curves were a little scary but I did it! Scroll down to see all 6 of my blocks so far all together 🙂
Seeing Stars Quilt Along- Double Star Blocks
I got my first set of blocks done for the Seeing Stars Quilt Along. These are my Double Star Blocks. They are huge! Each one is 24+ inches square. I can’t wait to see how this quilt turns out!
Seeing Stars Sew Along
I am participating in the Seeing Stars Sew Along being put on by Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting Melissa. This first week is fabric selection! I have decided to use a fat quarter bundle of Geogram Fabric by Samarra Khaja for Lecien Fabrics. I can’t wait to get started!
Another Jelly Roll Race
I quilted another Jelly Roll Race quilt for my customer, Kay. I used a quilting design called Argyle (but I think it looks more like interlocking hexagons)
Sara’s Fishy quilt
This is the third quilt in a row I’ve quilted for Sara! For this one she chose Slate metallic thread and the quilting design is called Mermaid Lagoon from Anne Bright Designs. It was my first time using metallic thread, and I think it turned out so great!
